Kokořín Castle

One of the most famous places in the Czech Republic is Kokořín Castle, which is located approx. 55 kilometers from Prague. The beautiful and ancient castle complex stands on a cliff, and pine forests surround it. The tour of the castle is definitely worth seeing – you will see rare exhibits of furniture of different periods, walls decorated with beautiful paintings with knightly motifs, or you can also see the luxurious collection of old weapons. From the walls of the castle, as well as from the tallest tower of the castle, there are nice views of the surrounding forests.
